Little Things {Tradition}

If I really think hard about, there are some traditions in our family that have been around since forever.
Like how we all clap and count out the Birthday girl or boy's age after they blow out the candles on their cake for instance.
And Sunday night dinners, which started the first Sunday after my Pop died. Originally to make sure Yaya was ok, and then just because.
The funny thing about family traditions though, is that you rarely plan them - they just happen. And they keep on happening, until for some reason they have their own little permanent reservation in your world.
We have a new tradition in our family (eleven weeks new to be precise) But it wasn't until today that I even realised it existed.
Eleven weeks ago, my cousin gave birth to an adorable little boy, Patrick. Yaya's eleventh Great-Grandchild. We all had lunch at Yaya's that Friday.
Six weeks later, and six lunch dates later, Violet Kate made her long awaited arrival.
Fast forward.
Yaya went on holidays last Saturday. And today, I woke up and realised that Friday's aren't just Friday's anymore, they are 'Lunch at Yaya's'.
We all met here for lunch today. But in two more weeks, it will be back to our 'new' normal.
Lunch at Yaya's.

Patrick, 11 weeks
